Experiments with inferior species, day 1: Humans.
Experiments show, that for this very strange "intelligent" species, losing something hurts much more, than not having it in their lives at all. First, I did not understand its cause, but now I see. When they have something, they get used to it, and feel like they would not be a whole being without that. When they lose it, it feels like losing a part of themselves... but still...
